I met Soledad O’Brien tonight on campus. :)
She’s SUCH an inspiration. She’s powerful (I don’t mean financially), incredibly smart, emotionally strong (I would NEVER be able to cover the stories she covers. I’d bawl during the entire interview and editing process.), and not to mention, pretty! (yes, I find it dumb that that’s one of the reasons I like her, but she totally is!)
Makes me a bit sad, though, because I know I could never be the type of journalist she is. :/
Also, my face looks huge.

If I had to write a thesis to graduate, that’s probably what it’d be about.

people post stuff like “The difference between you and I is simply this: you get a picture and a caption and I get a picture and a feature story.” and are trying to be mean/offensive to someone, and you think what they just said is HARSH.
My life some day.
And my script won’t say Texas State unless I’m actually covering an important event about my beloved alma mater.
Can’t wait for the future. (sort of.)
